The Dutchman is looking forward to this new chapter in his career.

Dylan van Baarle will reinforce Soudal Quick-Step’s squad next season, after the 33-year-old signed a contract until the end of 2027. Professional since 2013, Van Baarle has built himself a remarkable palmares that features memorable wins at Paris-Roubaix, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Dwars door Vlaanderen, but he has shown his quality multiple times also in stage races or Grand Tours, of which he has raced a total of 16 times, either by scoring strong results or by helping his team achieve its goals.

A former national champion in both road and time trial and silver medalist at the 2021 World Championships, Dylan has an impressive track record in the cobbled Classics. In addition to the aforementioned victories, he has finished a total of eleven times in the top ten at the Spring Classics in the past decade – results that make him one of the most consistent riders in the current peloton in this type of races.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Soudal Quick-Step, a team that I was watching on the TV when I was young, especially during Tom Boonen’s days. It’s a dream come true to become a member of the Wolfpack from next year. From the outside, it gives the impression of one, big family, and I’m glad I will be part of it. My goal is to be back at my best level for the Classics, and hopefully, we will fight for victories there. I also want to help the GC guys as much as possible in the Grand Tours, and why not, go for a stage win there or in the week-long races if there will be an opportunity”, Dylan said after signing the contract.

“We are glad that Dylan will be a member of the Wolfpack in 2026 and 2027. He is a very strong rider, as confirmed not just by his victories in the Classics or in the time trial, but also by his exceptionally solid rides in the Grand Tours. He will bring a lot of experience into the team, which we are convinced will make the difference in the key moments of a race and help us become stronger”, added Soudal Quick-Step CEO Jurgen Foré.
