Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team
Our team has a long history of investing in young riders and searching for the stars of tomorrow. Between 2013 and 2016, we did this with the Klein Constantia U23 squad, which served as a feeder team, helping many riders find their way in the sport and making the step to the pro ranks. Among those who graduated the program are Julian Alaphilippe – a two-time World Champion and multiple Tour de France stage winner – Rémi Cavagna, Jan Hirt and Florian Sénéchal, riders who between them have scored dozens of victories for the Wolfpack, but also the likes of Enric Mas or Maximilian Schachmann, who took important wins for us in some of the biggest races on the calendar, such as the Giro or the Vuelta.
At the beginning of 2023, we decided to start this program again, and it ended up being an immensely rewarding one, as the squad racked up close to 60 wins in the past three years, while at the same time, helping seven riders – the most recent of whom was European ITT Champion Jonathan Vervenne – make the step up to the World Tour Team.
As it begins its fourth season, the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team is motivated to remain on this path that has made it one of the most successful feeder teams out there, as it will take on this new season with a roster of 16 talented riders from eight different countries, all determined to show what they’re capable of and keep the flag high for the squad.
Junior team
In addition to our U23 squad, we are committed to supporting also those who hope about to turn their dream into reality from an even younger age, and for this reason, we run also a junior team, which in 2026 will consist of Marwan Barhoumi, Simon Defrance, Victor Devos, Victor De Smet, Diego Lopez, Maksymilian Matyasik, René Mesesly, Valentin Petillon, Gal Stare, Jakub Tesarik, and Mathis Vandenheede.
In cycling, growing one step at a time without rushing things is important, and through this squad we want to provide the nine riders making up the roster with the perfect environment and conditions to discover themselves and progress while adapting to the sport.
