Another week, another win for the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team.

Jonathan Vervenne is in red-hot form this spring, and he doesn’t miss an opportunity to show this. Having won Les Tour des 100 Communes and the GP Wilfried Peeters, the Belgian reigned supreme now in the Almere Time Trial – his third victory in the space of just four weeks and the seventh of his team since the start of the season.

Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team’s rider didn’t give a chance to his opponents, setting a time of 34:04 over the course’s 28 kilometers. Bart Lemmen and Jody Jochems rounded out the podium, more than one minute and a half behind Vervenne, who also set the fastest time at both checkpoints before going into the hot seat, where he remained until the finish.

“The time trial in Almere was a perfect moment on the calendar to test my form and material. There were 570 participants over several categories, and I decided to go for the 28km one, as it aligned best to what comes next. I felt good and did a solid race, so going home with the victory makes me happy”, Jonathan said after the race.
