Biography

Jonathan Vervenne is the sixth Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team U23 rider to join the Wolfpack, a logical step for the Genk native, who has built himself an impressive palmares over the last three seasons. European ITT Champion, a two-time ITT National Champion, KOM jersey winner at the Giro della Valle d’Aosta, and a stage victor at the Giro Next Gen – these are just some of the standout results Jonathan racked up since becoming a member of our feeder squad, back in 2023.

“I’m happy to have signed a pro contract with Soudal Quick-Step! I am grateful for their confidence, but I also want to say a big thanks to the whole Devo Team. Not only that they helped me grow as a rider, but also made sure I kept both feet on the ground. Cycling is a team sport, it’s always about the team in this sport, and this is an important lesson that I’m taking with me to the World Tour. I’ve had a great time with the Devo squad, and the victory I got last summer at the Giro Next Gen, together with my day in pink, stand out by far. I’m looking forward to the next step: to keep learning, working hard and helping the team wherever I can”, an elated Jonathan said.
