For our professional cycling teams Soudal Quick-Step and AG Insurance – Soudal, we are looking for a Logistics Officer with a strong focus on travel organization and operational support. In this role, you are a key behind-the-scenes link, contributing to the smooth and professional organization of races and training camps at an international level.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Logistics Officer, you support the teams’ logistical processes and ensure that all practical and operational aspects related to races and training camps run smoothly and correctly. You are primarily responsible for organizing travel and accommodation, as well as communicating with race organizers. You work closely with team management and staff, and you support riders and staff by providing clear and efficient travel planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travel management: efficient and cost-conscious booking of flights, train travel, and other means of transport
  • Booking and follow-up of accommodations
  • Proactive communication with race organizers and coordination of logistical requirements and race budgets
  • Preparing and communicating clear travel schedules for riders and staff in a timely manner
  • Logistical support before, during, and after races and training camps
  • Accurate administrative follow-up of data, invoices, expenses, and budgets
  • General administrative tasks related to logistics and travel

YOUR PROFILE

  • Flexible mindset with no 9-to-5 mentality; able to adapt in a fast-changing environment
  • Stress-resistant, calm, and solution-oriented in challenging situations
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
  • Strong planning skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Highly organized, efficient, and deadline-driven
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Willing to be occasionally present at races, training camps, or team activities
  • Affinity with working in an international elite sports environment
  • Education or background in logistics, sports management, or a related field
  • Primary workplace is based at our team offices in Wevelgem (with the possibility of 1 day of hybrid working per week)

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

  • Knowledge of booking and travel management tools
  • Knowledge of French
