The young Frenchman talked about his goals after signing this agreement.

Paul Magnier has added two more years to his contract with Soudal Quick-Step, extending his stay with the Wolfpack until the end of 2029.

The 21-year-old, who will open his season at the Classica Comunitat Valenciana, enjoyed a phenomenal 2025 campaign, racking up an outstanding 19 victories to establish himself as one of the most prolific riders of the year. Magnier impressed not only with his blistering speed, which made him a dominant force in bunch sprints, but also with his growing authority in one-day races. Wins in Hageland, Heistse Pijl, Elfstedenronde and Fourmies, alongside podium finishes in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Hamburg, underlined his potential to become a leading figure in the Classics — a terrain he had long dreamed of conquering even before turning professional.

“These first two years with the team have been incredible. I love the atmosphere in the squad and the bond I have with the riders and the staff, and I feel enormous support and trust from everyone. On top of that, I have the best possible conditions to perform. Coming off a season with 19 victories, it means a lot to know the team believes in me and wants to keep building together. I’m proud to continue my journey with the Wolfpack for the next four years”, said Paul.

“The team has continued to strengthen its Classics core, and this gives me huge confidence that I can keep progressing in this direction. Being surrounded by so many experienced riders is incredibly valuable for my development, and I want to make the most of that. My goal is to keep improving and to win races — not just this season, but consistently in the years ahead”, added Magnier, who will also compete in the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana and Volta ao Algarve ahead of the start of the Classics campaign.

“Paul is a rider with exceptional talent and an extraordinary competitive instinct. From the moment he turned professional, he showed maturity and natural leadership beyond his years, combined with the hunger and ambition we value so highly at Soudal Quick-Step. His results speak for themselves, but just as important is his mindset and his willingness to learn, grow and lead within the team. Extending his contract was a clear and confident decision for us. Paul represents a key pillar of our future, and we are excited to continue developing and winning together over the long term”, said Soudal Quick-Step CEO Jurgen Foré.
