Soudal Quick-Step’s 22-year-old rider was taken to the hospital after a crash.
Following his crash in Monday’s Antwerp Port Epic, Gil Gelders was taken to hospital where it was revealed that he has suffered a broken collarbone.
The Belgian will now visit the hospital in Herentals, where a further assessment and a plan for his recovery will be made.
