The U23 Dutch Champion has signed a two-year contract with our squad.

Pepijn Reinderink had a strong season in the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team jersey last year, and his results have convinced our team to give him a pro deal, making the Dutchman the 28th member of the 2024 roster. A spectacular rider who likes bringing the race to life by launching some impressive long-range attacks, Pepijn took two victories in 2023: the opening stage of the Triptyque Ardennais – a race where he finished third overall in addition to winning two jerseys – and the road national title.

The latter came after an action-packed day in Sittard, where Reinderink was relentless, putting in attack after attack until the peloton fragmented. Only a handful of riders were capable of following him when he dropped the hammer with 50 kilometers to go, but on the local lap they were all distanced and Pepijn took a spectacular solo win, which confirmed his talent and potential.

“It feels pretty special to turn pro with the team I’ve been dreaming of riding for my entire life. I’m coming here after a nice spell with the Devo Team, where I progressed a lot, and now I’m looking forward to continuing my development and to helping the squad whenever possible. I want to thank the team for the confidence shown in me. I am excited to ride at the highest level and can’t wait to get things started”, said Pepijn, who’ll make his debut for Soudal Quick-Step next week, at the Challenge Mallorca.

“Pepijn impressed us last season not only with his exploits on the road, but also with his work ethic. He is a rider who can climb, time trial, and who loves going on the attack, and we are confident he will fit in immediately in our team. We believe in young riders and in supporting them, and this move – the fifth rider to join us this year after a season with our devo squad – confirms that this project is a solid one”, explained Soudal Quick-Step CEO Patrick Lefevere.
