Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team celebrates its eighth victory of the season.

Jonathan Vervenne confirmed his prowess against the clock Saturday afternoon. Just two weeks after his comfortable success in the Time Trial Almere, the 19-year-old crushed again the opposition on home turf, in the time trial of Erte Voedekoers in Poperinge.

The native of Genk recorded a solid time of 26:57 putting more than half a minute into the two riders who completed the podium, countrymen Robin Orins (Lotto Dstny Development Team) and Victor Vercouillie (EFC-L&R-Van Mossel).

In addition to the Time Trial Almere and Time Trial Poperinge, Jonathan took two other victories this season – his first in the U23 ranks – at Les Tour des 100 Communes and the GP Wilfried Peeters, being responsible for half of Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team’s successes since the start of the year.
