For the second consecutive year, João Almeida finished the race in the top 10 overall.

The 104th edition of the Corsa Rosa came to a conclusion Sunday afternoon with a stage against the clock, held in Lombardy’s capital. It was an eventful day for Deceuninck – Quick-Step, with João Almeida producing another great effort and moving up two places in the general classification, thus finishing the race in sixth, and Rémi Cavagna being denied a second-career Grand Tour stage victory after crashing inside the last kilometer.
