Quick-Step Floors continue to lead the team rankings after the final World Tour event of June.

Yves Lampaert was our squad's top finisher on the 28.6-km individual time trial which put an end to the 81st edition of the Tour de Suisse. The Dwars door Vlaanderen winner had the second-fastest time at both checkpoints and finish on stage 9, before other riders, who took the start later, corrected that result, which led to Yves slipping out of the top 10 once the dust had settled over the stage.

Quick-Step Floors comes out of this race with another strong showing, which netted Philippe Gilbert his maiden victory at the Tour de Suisse – thanks to which the Belgian Champion climbed to fifth in the World Tour classification – as well as two other stage podiums, with Matteo Trentin. In addition to these, the team didn't drop its aggressive approach, getting infiltrated in the breakaway several times throughout the week, with Jack Bauer, Gianluca Brambilla and David De La Cruz.

Now, after what's been the season's 24th World Tour race out of the 38 scheduled, Quick-Step Floors remain at the top of the team standings for the 13th consecutive week and will carry a comfortable lead, of more than 1000 points, into next month's Tour de France.
