The team will draw the curtain on the month of May in a race it has won on four occasions.

After what has been a very successful Giro d'Italia, Etixx – Quick-Step is ready to conclude this very busy period of the year with Gullegem Koerse, a one-day race created back in 1946. The event takes place over a 9.5-km long circuit which the peloton will cover 18 times, making up for a total of 171 kilometers. The Belgian race is expected to be a fast and hectic one, and taking from the past editions, it can go either to a sprinter, or to a rider capable of an audacious attack.

Seven-time Monument winner Tom Boonen will spearhead Etixx – Quick-Step's team for the race, where he'll be joined by 2015 Giro d'Italia stage winner Iljo Keisse, Yves Lampaert, Nikolas Maes, Guillaume Van Keirsbulck and Stijn Vandenbergh, who's coming here after last week's Belgium Tour, where he put on a strong and aggressive ride which netted him a place on the general classification podium.
