Etixx - Quick-Step rider Yves Lampaert finished in the top 5 of the 7km Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen Prologue on Friday, finishing with a time of 8'05", which was 8" behind winner Anton Vorobyev (Katusha).

Vorobyev was the only rider to finish in less than 8 minutes. Jesse Sergent (Trek Factory Racing) was 2nd, 4" down, and Alexis Gougeard (AG2R - La Mondiale) was 3rd (s.t.).

Lukasz Wisniowski was also 11th (+13"), and Guillaume Van Keirsbulck finished 13th (+16").

Etixx - Quick-Step looks next to Stage 2, from Brugge to Harelbeke, which includes a climb of the Oude Kwaremont about 100 kilometers into the 174.1km stage, but then finishes with a flat four-lap circuit. Wind could play a factor in this stage.
