Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Peter Velits was the top finisher for OPQS at the 26.8km final stage ITT at Tour de Suisse on Sunday. Velits was 13th (+1'36") in a time trial with a steep uphill finish that forced riders to switch to road bikes for better climbing.

Rui Costa (Movistar Team) won the stage with a time of 51'56", and also won the overall by besting yellow jersey wearer Mathias Frank (BMC Racing Team) by 1'55". Tanel Kangert (Astana) was 2nd, 21" back, and Bauke Mollema (Blanco Pro Cyclng Team) 3rd, 29" back.

Velits was also the top GC finisher for OPQS, in 23rd place.
