Biography of Sam

Sam is from Orléans – the former capital of the Kingdom of France – has joined the team at the beginning of 2026, and loves to combine sports nutrition and cooking. After graduating French cooking school, he joined the Dutch Olympic Training Center for three years, before switching to football, where he briefly worked for AZ Alkmaar.

His professional path then took him to the Paris Olympics in 2024, and now, to becoming a member of Soudal Quick-Step. Sam enjoys spending time in the kitchen, where he puts heart in everything he does. If you ever meet him and want to make a pun on his name using the “crème brûlée” joke, you should know he’s going to be faster and say it before you get the chance to.
