Biography of Milan

Growing up near the Flemish Ardennes, Milan naturally became a fan of the Flemish Classics, but once he truly got involved in cycling, the sport completely swept him off his feet, and what started as admiration quickly grew into a real passion. Of course, he has a deep love for the Belgian Spring Classics, but isn’t afraid to admit that the breathtaking scenery of the Tour de Suisse – with its combination of stunning landscapes and high level of racing – make it his favourite race on the calendar, something truly special to which he always looks forward.

Alongside cycling, Milan also works in the emergency department at the AZ Maria Middelares in Gent, and in his free time, enjoys to stay active through a variety of sports such as snowboarding, running, and mountain biking – activities that help him disconnect and recharge from the intensity of his work as a doctor.
