Biography

Hailing from California, where he began riding dirt bikes at the age of three, Luke Lamperti has turned in recent seasons into one of the most sought-after young riders out there as a result of his numerous victories and impressive potential shown in both sprints and one-day races.

A resident of Girona, Luke a remarkable palmares for the age of 20: a three-time US Criterium National Champion – a unique achievement in the race’s history – he’s also put his name on the winners’ list at the GiroNextGen, Tour of Japan, Tour de Bretagne, Volta ao Alentejo, Tour of Taiwan, and the Lincoln Grand Prix – all in the last two years. Packing an impressive speed, the 22-year-old was keen to show what he is capable of in his maiden season with the team, and he didn’t disappoint, taking a stage win at the Czech Tour and a total of six podiums in what has been a strong 2024, which saw him make his Grand Tour debut at the Giro d’Italia.

“I looked up to this team since I was a really little kid and I was excited ahead of my first year with the squad. I knew it was the right fit for me and I am thankful I got to discover so many incredible races last season, such as the Giro or the Classics. I see myself doing more of the one-day races in the future as I progress in the sport, I just love the cobbled one-day Classics, and I’m glad I will get to take on the them together as part of the Wolfpack, a squad with such a rich history and tradition in these races.”
