Biography

Hailing from the small town of Diksmuide in West Flanders, Jordi Warlop is an experienced rider in his own right, having ridden for several high-profile teams. Before joining us, the 27-year-old rode for a season with the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team, where he used his experience to help to guide some of the squad’s younger riders, as well as taking some strong results, such as runner-up at the Muscat Classic and Memorial Briek Schotte, and a total of 14 top-10 places. Then, in his first full season at World Tour level, Jordi played a role in many of the team’s successes, in addition to racking up a couple of solid results whenever presented with the opportunity.

“I am really excited to be on this team and proud to sport these great colors in the World Tour. I grew up and still live in West Flanders, so I know what it means to be part of Soudal Quick-Step and what they represent. Heading into my second year with the squad, I have the same excitement and desire when it comes to helping the team wherever needed, but especially in the one-day races which I love so much, but I’m also keen to prove my condition, go for my chances when I’ll get them and show what I am capable of.”
