Biography

Jasper turned pro in 2014 and has since established himself as one of the most solid Classics riders in the peloton, the highlight of his career so far being the memorable victory he took on the Via Roma, at the 2021 Milano-Sanremo. In addition to “La Primavera”, Stuyven’s palmares features wins at the two races of the Opening Weekend – Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne – as well as a total of six top ten results in the two cobbled Monuments, Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris-Roubaix.

“I’m happy to be riding for the Wolfpack. When I started cycling, this team was one of the first I got to know, and it’s nice to be part of a Belgian centric squad after so many years in the bunch. I bring a lot of experience that I will try to pass on to the younger riders, but also for the lead-out trains. Soudal Quick-Step has always been present in the Classics. These races are in the DNA of the team, and that makes me confident, as this team is a perfect fit for me and I’m also a right fit for them. I know how motivated everyone here is for the one-day races and we’ll do our best to be on the top of our game for them.”

“I won a Monument and a couple of cobbled Classics in my career, but if there is one race that remains a goal, that is Paris-Roubaix. That, and winning a stage at the Tour de France”, said Jasper, whose contract with the team stretches until the end of 2028.
