Biography
One of the most versatile riders in the peloton, Ethan turned pro in 2020 and has since taken at least a victory each year. In 2025, he joined Soudal Quick-Step, and his first season with the team was nothing short of impressive, despite a rocky start due to illness. A third place in the second time trial of the Giro d’Italia gave him a major confidence-boost and in no time, Ethan was back to his best in the races against the clock which he loves so much. Victories in Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and at the Nationals Championships made the Brit one of the most successful Soudal Quick-Step riders of the year and helped him take his career tally to 24 wins, a number he is determined to improve next year.
“I came here with a lot of excitement and optimism, and I’m really pleased with the way things went last season. I was grateful for the opportunity and I’m delighted I could repay the team. I reached a high level and I am motivated to remain there and win some more races, while at the same time, helping the team get victories wherever and whenever is possible”, said Ethan, a lifelong Arsenal fan, who before getting seriously into cycling, used to practise Taekwondo.
