Iljo Keisse and teammate Kenny de Ketele battled on the third day of 6-Days Berlin and held onto first place by a single point. Keisse and De Ketele —European Champions — led riders Leif Lampater and Robert Kluge with a score of 137. The only duo who came close to these two groups was Robert Bensch and Marcel Kalz. The two riders finished with a score of 131 on Saturday. As many as six teams were described as potential victors for 6-Days Berlin, but Keisse and De Ketele proved they are one of the top teammates to contend for the honor. They were one of the only teams that did not move up or down in their overall ranking following the third stage.
Franco Marvulli and Silvan Dillier sit in fourth place, with 138 points, plus one round.
