The 2013 Giro d'Italia route was unveiled in grand fashion on Sunday in Milan. 

The 96th edition of the race covers 3405km and includes seven mountaintop finishes. The Giro, which begins in Naples, also features plenty of time trialing — 88.9km in total. The time trial stages include a Stage 2 17.4km TTT, Stage 8 55.5km ITT, and a Stage 18 19.4km mountain ITT.
