Swiss coating specialist brings space-grade protection to the men’s and women’s teams.
Soudal Quick-Step and AG Insurance – Soudal are pleased to announce Diamond ProTech as a new technical partner of both the men’s and women’s teams.
The Swiss company, a specialist in advanced protective coatings, has adapted its proven automotive and industrial nanodiamond technology into an easy-to-apply solution designed specifically to cycling equipment. The partnership will see Diamond ProTech products used across bikes, components and team infrastructure throughout the season.
Originally developed for aerospace applications, industrial applications and high-end automotive, Diamond ProTech’s coating technology combines nanodiamonds with advanced inorganic and organic matrices to deliver exceptional protection against abrasion, corrosion, UV exposure and contamination, while remaining lightweight and flexible.
For cycling, this technology has been refined into a product that offers high durability with fast application, allowing team mechanics to protect frames and components efficiently during a busy racing calendar.
The collaboration extends well beyond this though, with Diamond ProTech coatings being applied throughout the teams’ operational fleet, including team cars, buses, trucks, and even the chef’s mobile kitchen, ensuring durable protection across the entire Wolfpack setup.
At the highest level of cycling, marginal gains are often about consistency and protection.
