Our riders sported a different jersey for a special occasion during the first rest day of the race.
To mark 25 years of innovation from leading workwear brand Safety Jogger, Soudal Quick-Step and AG Insurance – Soudal proudly partnered with its long-standing sponsor to create a one-off jersey and T-shirt design, unveiled during the first rest day of the men’s 2025 Tour de France.
Founded in 2000, Safety Jogger has consistently pushed the boundaries of protective footwear and apparel, supporting millions of workers across a wide range of industries, globally. Since joining the team in 2022, Safety Jogger has been more than just a name on our jersey – providing specialist footwear and workwear to our entire operations staff, from bus drivers and soigneurs to mechanics. This year, they expanded their role by becoming the official supplier of rainwear for the team – ensuring our staff stays dry and protected in all conditions.
To mark the 25th anniversary, our riders wore a custom-designed black and gold Castelli jersey inspired by Safety Jogger’s iconic colours during the customary Tour de France rest day. Off the bike, staff also wore matching T-shirts to mark the occasion. Joining the celebrations on the day was Tom Gybels, Global General Director of Safety Jogger Works, who stated: “At Safety Jogger, we believe that true performance is only possible when each member of the team – on and off the bike – feels protected, supported, and valued. Celebrating our 25th anniversary alongside Soudal Quick-Step and AG Insurance – Soudal is incredibly special. Seeing our colours proudly worn in the Tour de France peloton was not just a celebration of our journey, but a tribute to the people who make it all possible. We’re honoured to be part of the Wolfpack.”
Speaking of the celebrations, the CEO of both teams, Jurgen Foré said: “We’re proud to work alongside a partner like Safety Jogger, who shares our commitment to performance, safety, and innovation – both on and off the bike. It was an honour to have Tom with us today, and to share the celebrations of 25 years of this iconic brand.”
