Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team has announced the selection for Tour of Denmark, a 854.5km race from August 22nd through the 26th.

"We have a pretty good team for this race," Sports Director Brian Holm said. "Normally in this race we have a lot of crosswind and more or less flat stages — the same conditions we can find sometimes in Belgium or in Holland. The key point of the race will be the hilly stage on Friday in Vejle and the Time Trial of 14.5km on Saturday afternoon. Our goal is to win a stage and stay in the high part of the GC."

The Tour of Denmark will represent also the first race of Florian Senechal among the professional riders. The 19-year-old young French talent will ride with Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team as a stagiaire.
