Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Levi Leipheimer will have all eyes on him at Stage 4 of Tour De San Luis, as he is only four seconds outside the general classification (GC) lead. He currently trails Alberto Contador (Team Saxo Bank). Stage 4 — a 19.5 km time trial — will likely be one of the most crucial stages of the seven stage race. The first rider leaves the start house at 3:11 p.m. ART. Leipheimer will depart just before Contador, who leaves at 6:07 p.m. ART (according to CyclingFans.com).
Sylvain Chavanel is also in GC contention. He is in 10th place, 45 seconds behind Contador.
"Sylvain could also play an important part in this race," Sports Director Davide Bramati said.
