The promising Belgian rider will ride for our feeder team in 2025 and 2026.

Jasper Schoofs started riding at the age of 8 and competing from 10 years-old, under the influence of his cycling loving father. Now aged 18, Jasper has caught the eye while racing for his current team of ACROG-Tormans and has impressed sufficiently for the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team to snap him up for the next two years.

Schoofs describes himself as a strong time trialist, with hopes of becoming a solid classics rider. He backs this up with top ten results at Paris-Roubaix and Gent-Wevelgem for juniors and an impressive solo victory in the Pévèle Classic, which he took last month. He has also shown his versatility by taking a stage win, the overall, the points and the youth classification in Vuelta al Besaya last year, as well as a stage and the best young rider jersey in Gipuzkoa Klasikoa.

“I am really proud to be joining the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team. I have some goals for the next two years that I am looking to achieve but I also want to be the best version of myself and take the next steps in my career”, said Jasper, who just last weekend scored another solid result – third at the E3 Saxo Classic.
