One of the best sprinters of the ‘90s, with nine Tour de France stage victories to his name, as well as a pair of Gent-Wevelgem wins, Tom Steels is now entering his 14th season as a sports director for Soudal Quick-Step. The man behind some of the most memorable triumphs in the history of the Wolfpack, Tom was recently invited to the mic for the first episode of the brand-new Wolfpack Howls podcast.
There, he talked about the team’s prospects at this year’s Spring Classics, the crop of young riders who have already made an impression since the beginning of the season, and Remco Evenepoel’s Tour de France debut, but also the chances of seeing the current Belgian Champion in a cobbled Classic.
