The Belgian will ride for Soudal Quick-Step from next year.

Jordi Warlop racked up some impressive results this season, be it for Soudal Quick-Step or our excellent feeder team. Starting with a runner-up place in the Muscat Classic and a fourth place in the Tour of Oman stage to Yitti Hills, the 27-year-old immediately showed he was eager to make the most out of every opportunity. The season continued with various top ten spots – most recent of which came at the Memorial Briek Schotte – that are now being rewarded with a contract for two years with the Soudal Quick-Step Team.

“After some difficult times I was grateful that I got this chance to ride with the Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team. Now making it to the World Tour squad is just incredible, the atmosphere is great as there are also a lot of West-Flemish guys like me, and I am very happy. I hope to help the team to the maximum and give my best every single time”, said Jordi, who is a pro since 2018.

Patrick Lefevere, CEO of Soudal Quick-Step, is convinced that the Belgian will be a strong addition to the team: “Jordi was so happy getting the chance to ride with the Devo Team, and he instantly proved in the first races of the season that he is able to be up there with the World Tour Team as well. He is a very solid rider, who can help us in various races, but who also has chances of performing well himself, and that makes us confident for next season.”
