The expectations around him were sky-high, but Remco Evenepoel remained impervious to pressure and delivered in style.

The World Champion won cycling’s oldest Monument – Liège–Bastogne–Liège – for the second consecutive year, capping off his Soudal Quick-Step teammates’ immense work on a rainy day in Belgium, at the end of which the rainbow shined brightly.
