Soudal Quick-Step’s CEO talks about the team’s highly successful 2022 season and his expectations for this year.

“As I like to say, every New Year brings a new beginning, and 2023 is no different for our team. We have a new title sponsor in Soudal, who have joined our other long-standing partners with the goal of helping the squad remain at the top of its game and among the best in the world.

We enter this 21st season after what has been a fantastic and memorable year, which will be very difficult to repeat. To win Classics, Grand Tour stages, a Grand Tour and the World Championships in a time span of more or less half a year is remarkable, and we can all be proud – from riders and staff to sponsors and fans – of what we have achieved together. At the same time, we think also about those who are in difficulty during these trying times, and we hope that cycling in general, and our team in particular, have brought them some moments of joy and will continue doing that.

We are prepared to work hard and showcase the same Wolfpack mentality and winning spirit that have helped us stand out in all these years. We are also excited to expand our family with the three women’s teams and the men’s development squad, which we look forward to seeing in action this year.

On behalf of everyone at Soudal Quick-Step, I want to wish you a Happy New Year and all the best to you and your families!”
