Kasper Asgreen and Mattia Cattaneo took part in Saturday’s race, held in Arkansas.

The duo are in the USA, with teammate Ilan van Wilder and head coach Koen Pelgrim, where they will visit our partners at Specialized and Oakley, in order to help to fine tune our plans for the 2023 season.

The pair were joined by thousands of other cyclists at the event on Saturday morning, where they tackled the 50-mile course. Both rode a beautifully setup Specialized Diverge STR, with compliments to our hosts for sourcing and setting up the equipment, allowing them to enjoy the race.

Speaking of the ride, 2021 Ronde van Vlaanderen winner Kasper Asgreen said: “It was a super fun ride. We did the Little Sugar ride, which was 50 miles (around 80km). We tried to stay at the front and have some fun with it. There were some technical descents but the new Diverge STR handled it really well – the future shocks helped to smooth out the bumps and vibrations, making it really comfortable and fast all day. It was really good fun, which was the main thing!”
