Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team has announced the selection for Tour de Pologne.
"This race is important for a lot of reasons" said Sport Director Rik Van Slycke."First of all on the team we have two Polish guys who are really motivated for this race, Kwiatkowski and Golas. Even if there won't be a time trial, Kwiatkowski wants to be a protagonist of the race that he missed last year. Golas will be at the start with his Polish National Champion Jersey, and he wants to show it as much as possible. Then we have a few guys who are preparing for the Olympics. This race will be the perfect approach for them prior to London. Tour of Pologne is a UCI WorldTour race, and we really would like to make a good result here. We have a good team here, so we will go for a stage victory and maybe a good GC."
