As of this year, the Wolfpack’s riders will travel around the globe in style with the support of the world’s best-known and largest travel luggage company.

A cycling team is one big travel crew, going from one country to another, all year long. This week, Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team is scheduled to race in Belgium, but also in France and even in the Middle East, which adds up to the thousands of kilometers spent traveling and numerous hotel stays per year. This season we will do it in style, as Samsonite will support the Wolfpack with high quality luggage to provide the best possible travel experience for both riders and staff.

Made in Europe, the Samsonite Proxis collection is a high-performance range of suitcases which offer remarkable lightness and strength, combined with an outstanding design. Making it extra personal for each Wolfpack member, the name of the rider or staff member is engraved with a laser at the back of the suitcase, while a leather personalized tag with their initials is also integrated.

After a few years of research and development at the center based in Belgium, the Proxis suitcase features the Samsonite’s exclusive Roxkin material, which is lightweight, resilient and easily bounces back into shape on impact.

In line with the team’s sustainability project #ItStartsWithUs, Samsonite is also committed to its responsibility journey. With Samsonite WeCare service, Samsonite offers first-class assistance and benefits during and after the warranty period that includes the recycling and repurposing of used Proxis suitcases once they reach the end of their life.

Edouard Wattel, VP Digital & Ecommerce of Samsonite, is excited about this new partnership: “We perfectly match with the Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team. We both strive to be the best and we share similar values: performance, innovation and sustainability. I strongly believe our commitment to a sustainable future and our pursuit of innovation will always keep pushing the boundaries. Equipped with the Proxis suitcases I have no doubts the Wolfpack riders and staff will be traveling all around the globe in a comfortable way, and hopefully they will be successful.”

Patrick Lefevere, CEO of Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl, already sees the benefits of the new partnership: “The suitcase looks great and is of top quality. You immediately see and feel it’s really exclusive material, and of course as a cycling team you need good suitcases that last and don’t break after a few travels. We are grateful to have the Samsonite suitcases by our side traveling with us and making the travel time as comfortable as possible.”
