Deceuninck – Quick-Step’s Portuguese is optimistic and relaxed ahead of his second Grand Tour presence.

The revelation of last season’s Corsa Rosa, João Almeida is back at the start of the race, which this year will get underway from Torino. Despite the course not playing into his favour as much as the one of 2020, when he led the race for an astonishing 15 consecutive days, the 22-year-old is confident that he can rise up to the challenge and deliver another strong result in the general classification.
