Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team riders Iljo Keisse and Mark Cavendish moved up from 4th to 2nd in a day, thanks to an impressive outing at Day 2 of Lotto 6-Days Flanders-Gent on Wednesday.
Cavendish and Keisse won the Madison, while Cavendish also won the 2nd Derny race and the Final. These crucial events, and some 2nd place finishes, helped the duo move up significantly in the overall rankings.
Iljo Keisse was also honored for the Best Helper/Kristallen Zweetdruppel at the Kristallen Fiets awards ceremony.
