OPQS rider Julien Vermote finished 5th after making the breakaway at 199.5km Omloop van het Houtland on Wednesday.
Jelle Wallays (Topsport Vlaanderen - Baloise) won the race. Daniel Schorn (Team NetApp-Endura) was 2nd and Coen Vermeltfoort (Cyclingteam de Rijke) was 3rd.
