Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Michal Kwiatkowski finished 3rd in a chaotic final few kilometers, which included negotiiating multiple roundabouts with a very high tempo.

Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team riders Tony Martin and Jan Bakelants did a good job protecting Kwiatkowski inside 10km to go, keeping him near the front in hopes of contesting the bunch sprint. Despite other teams with good position through the roundabouts, the Polish Champion managed to keep himself near the front for a podium placement.

Michael Matthews (Orica-GreenEDGE) won the stage. Kevin Reza (Team Europcard) was 2nd.

OPQS looks next to the Queen Stage, a 151km parcours that includes three Category 2 climbs, and two Category 1 climbs. The final Category 1 climb is near the finish, meaning that GC contention will likely be on the line in addition to a stage victory.
