Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Michal Golas was 13th in a 231km Stage 4 of Tour de Pologne that came down to a late race gamble by an opposing rider.

Taylor Phinney (BMC Racing Team) attacked with about 7km to go after the race came back together with 11.1km to go. He countered when another rider attacked. The peloton was on his heels in the final meters, but he managed to hold them off by just seconds for the solo win. Steele Von Hoff (Garmin-Sharp) was 2nd in a photo finish field sprint, and Yauheni Hutarovich (AG2R - La Mondiale) was 3rd.

OPQS looks next to a 160km Stage 5 on Thursday.
