Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Michal Golas was the top finisher in the 226km Stage 3 of Tour de Pologne on Tuesday.

Thor Hushovd (BMC Racing Team) won the bunch sprint, with Mark Renshaw (Belkin) 2nd and Steel Von Hoff (Garmin-Sharp) 3rd. Golas was 7th. The peloton reeled in a four-rider escape group inside the final 2km despite a maximum gap of 10'55". The gap was less than a minute and a half when the group hit the finishing circuit.

OPQS looks next to a 231.5km Stage 4 on Wednesday.
