Finding Landismo

Mikel Landa is a name that transcends cycling, especially in his home region.

Ahead of Itzulia Basque Country, Mikel welcomed our cameras into his home, to explore the stunning region where he lives, to meet his family and his friends and to help understand how this boy from Álava would grow into the phenomenon and the philosophy that is known as Landismo.

This special video gives unprecedented access to Mikel, who tells us the story of how he became a professional cyclist, and the personality that some many cycling fans find magnetic. Insight from his family and friends also show the affection and esteem in which he is held.
