Both Henrique Bravo and Said Cisneros will be in action for our squad on the African continent.

Five months after hosting the World Championships, Rwanda will welcome again the international peloton for the 18th edition of its most important race. Held between 22 February and 1 March, the route of the Tour du Rwanda will be a hilly one, promising to test the riders on a daily basis and give plenty of opportunities to the climbers, puncheurs and breakaway men.

Soudal Quick-Step Devo has competed there in the past three years and every time has been among the protagonists. Our feeder team took a total of four stage wins and enjoyed several days in the yellow jersey at those editions, and will look to play an important role again and fight for good results over the race’s eight days.

Henrique Bravo, Said Cisneros – the Junior Mexican Champion making his debut for the team – Matthijs De Clercq, Hodei Muñoz and Erazem Valjavec will be the five Devo riders in action there, a strong squad that sports director Kevin Hulsmans is confident can be in the mix: “We go to Rwanda with a quite solid and balanced team, comprising guys who can perform well on the climbs, which will be a key factor on that parcours. We are prepared to give everything there and try to get a stage victory.”
